How to Earn Contact Hours
If you have attended NACE National education programs, you don’t need to provide traditional documentation, we will confirm education hours for you! Simply provide a list of names and dates with the recertification application.
You can earn contact hours towards the CPCE or other industry certifications, such as the CMP, by attending various NACE Education programs
- NACE Experience Conference – earn a minimum of 10 educational contact hours. Attend at least 3 Experience Conferences within the five-year recertification period, and you will collect more than enough hours to recertify, with no documentation required!
- NACE Evolve Conference – earn a minimum of 10 educational contact hours
- NACE Online Courses – earn between 6 and 12 educational contact hours on each course
- Resource Library (NACE Members only) – view recorded webinars and hangouts worth 1 educational contact hour each
- Attend NACE Chapter Meetings in your local area
Let us help make documentation for recertification easier. Simply email cpce@nace.net when you view a webinar, attend in-house education, go to a local chapter meeting with education, travel to an industry conference, etc. We’ll track your hours, making it painless to recertify for another four years.
“I’ve had CPCE on my to-do list for a long time, but finally had the time and bandwidth to do it this year. After over a decade in the special event industry, I’m proud to have a credential that shares my knowledge and skillset with my collaborators and clients.”
